Situation & pitches

The 3 stars campsite L’Île du Chéran is situated in a natural area on the bank of a pond, at the edge of a forest and at the foot of the mountains of the Bauges massif with its overwhelming nature. The campsite pitches are green, shady and with enough place (an average of 80m²) for your tent, caravan or motor home. Even if L’Île du Chéran*** is surrounded by nature, we have thought of your comfort. 2/3 of the pitches have been equipped with water taps and electricity (10 amperes). At least one of the three sanitary buildings with their well kept facilities will be nearby your pitch.

• Pitches (see campsite map): 

  • 48  "Grand confort" pitches: electricity (10 amperes), individual water tap and wastewater disposal.
  • 70 "Confort" pitches:  electricity (10 amperes) and water tap.
  • 30 ‘’Nature’’ pitches: no electricity, no water.
  • 40 ‘’ Groupes’’ pitches, in the rear of the campsite.

• Arrival up from 2 pm, departure before 12 am.
• Maximum 6 guests per pitch

• The sanitary buildings dispose of warm water and toilet paper:
  
  • Toilet
  • Individual shower cabins
  • Baby cabins
  • Cabins for disabled persons
  • Dish-washing sinks
  • Chemical toilets discharge

• The pitches offer enough place for one vehicle. In case of more vehicles :

"The more the merrier!" Even if we don’t know the origin of this citation, it surely is true.

That’s why campsite L'Île du Chéran proposes a special group place with 40 pitches and 10 electricity terminals. Each pitch offers enough space for 8 persons. A special group sanitary building with 11 shower cabins, 9 washing cabins en 8 toilets has been installed nearby the group place.
